- Excellent Bait KeeperThe 19 kept three dozen shrimp alive on the dock in 90-degree weather for three days. It ran all that time powered by D-cell batteries. I should have let it run to see how many days the batteries could hold up. It is .the best way to transport bait from the store to the boat. And, it is easily washable, doesn’t seem to hold the scent of bait and so makes a good cooler when needed. Impressive!
